Art Nouveau Experience (ages 9-12)
Sat, Nov 12, 2022, 1:00 – 3:00 PM EST
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, 200 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA Map
Have you seen the Art Nouveau collection at the VMFA? Have you ever wondered who owned or used those pieces in their daily lives? Writers will spend time exploring the Art Nouveau collection together, and imagine who might have used the furniture, worn the jewelry, and lived among these incredible pieces of functional art. We will then spend time writing down the details of their daily lives, interests, and personalities. This workshop is entirely process-focused and designed to encourage writers to look at objects from a different perspective.
