Women in Poetry (Ages 15-18)

In this week-long camp, we will focus on the verdant land of poetry and, specifically, the contributions from noteworthy female poets. Each day will be devoted to a specific female writer: we will learn about the poet, read some of their work, and then have an opportunity to create and share our own poetry inspired by these women. We will celebrate the poetry of Emily Dickinson, Adrienne Rich, Gwendolyn Brooks, Sylvia Plath, and Ada Limón.
