Richmond Young Writers

In this one-day workshop, we will create poems that fit in your pocket! We will practice writing short forms you may know (haiku and cinquains) and a few that may be new to you (sijo and tanka). We will play with syllables, rhythm, imagery, metaphors and more! We’ll end the class by creating an accordion book that we will decorate with your words and illustrations.
